studio oat....

It was love at first sight when I stumbled across the engaging work of studioOat. Hoang Nguyen is the creative force behind the Sydney based project and exudes passion and fervor for his art. Typically the illustrations draw on imagery from nature and children’s drawings, and explores the themes of spirituality, motivation, positive change, and environmental issues.

It was certainly a chore to choose a piece to feature but decided upon this serene image from within the Baby Elephant collection equally for the thought behind the works as well as the visual outcome. Hoang speaks of this piece as being about the birth of change - "a place where reflection is required, a place where the spirit can rest and a place where we could change the world from one point"

At the centre of studioOat’s vision, there is a strong focus on global sustainability. With a sense of urgency all studioOat products are manufactured with recycled or sustainable materials from within Australia.
